The Department of Civil Engineering was started in the year 2011. It offers four year full time B.E. degree course in Civil Engineering with an intake of 60 students. The course being offered is approved by AICTE-New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University -Chennai.

The Department activities are fully supported by the fifteen dedicated, well experienced faculties and staff members of proven track record in the field of Civil Engineering. To meet the requirements of the industry, the students were trained in the usage of Total Station (Survey equipment) and latest software in Structural Design, AutoCAD etc.

In addition to the regular academic activity, the students undergo to the industrial visit in companies of good repute. The department offers its services in the form of consultancy and testing to various departmental and private agencies. The Department has its own Seminar Hall and Library. Students from our department have always proved to be meritorious. The department organizes training programs and workshops for students to understand and update their knowledge in recent developments in civil engineering. The students association of civil engineering organizes periodically co-curricular activities such as workshops, seminars, symposia, conference etc, for the students to improve their managerial, organizing, communication and technical skills.
