A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% [45% in the case of BC, BCM, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu] in the qualifying degree examination.

(a) 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern

(or)  (b) 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern

(or)  (c) B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm.

(or) (d) (i) 10+2+AMIE*

(or) (ii) 10+3 years diploma [awarded by the State Board of

Technical Education] + AMIE*

M.C.A.
A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent), or a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration (in discipline other than the ones mentioned above) with mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level and obtained at least 50% [45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu] in the qualifying degree examination.

(or) (ii) 10+3 years diploma [awarded by the State Board of

M.E.
a. A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% [45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu] in the qualifying
degree examination.
(i) B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Degree Programmes
(or) (ii) B.Pharm.  Degree Programmes
(or) (iii) Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed.
b. (i) 10+2+AMIE*
(or) (ii) 10+3 years diploma [awarded by the State Board of
Technical Education] + AMIE*
*Candidates with Section ‘A’ & ‘B’ certificates [A.M.I.E.] and other similar certificates of professional bodies viz. Aeronautical Society of India etc., recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and enrolled before 31.5.2013 are considered to be equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree holders, only with 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field after successful completion of the course including project work. An experience certificate has to be produced by the candidates.

Note:

  1. Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible except, B.E./B.Tech. and MCA degree courses.
  2. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance / Weekend mode Programmes are not eligible.
  3. Candidates with Degree obtained without studying 10th, 12th Std. or 3 years Diploma and 3/4/5 years degree programme are not eligible.

(Information Technology / Computer Science), Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent* and obtained atleast 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.
 

A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration (in disciplines other than the ones mentioned above) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level and obtained atleast 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

The above examination must be pass as 10+2+3/4 years pattern Or 10+3 years diploma +3 years pattern Or BE, B.Tech, B.Arch & B.Pharm Or 10+2+AMIE* Or 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education)

*Candidates with section   ‘A’   & ‘B’   certificates (e.g. A.M.I.E.) of the Institution of Engineers and other similar   certificates   of various professional bodies viz., Aeronautical Society of India etc., recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and enrolled before 31.05.2013 are considered to be equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree holders for admission to M.E. / M.Tech. degree programmes subject to the following conditions (a), (b) & (c)

 

a)       Candidates should have studies 10 + 2 years Higher Secondary + AMIE (with 2 years experience) (or) 10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education)

+ AMIE (with 2 years experience).

 

b)       Two years regular full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience in the relevant field after passing all the subjects including project work. The experience certificate will have to be produced by the candidate.

 

c)       Must have qualified either in GATE with qualifying score or TANCET.
