About Us

Electronics and Communication Engineering has gained importance in recent years due to its versatile application in every facet of engineering field. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2007-08 with approval from AICTE, New Delhi and affiliation from Anna University, Chennai with an initial intake of 60 students. The student intake was subsequently increased to 90 in the year 2009-10 and it was increased to 120 from the year 2012-13.The department has spacious laboratories, class rooms, staff rooms, and well stacked department library. Department has strong interaction with the students and are exposed to the cutting-edge technologies applied in industries by way of internships, in-plant trainings and industrial visits.
