About the Department of Management Studies
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two year full time course consists of four semesters. The department was established in the year 2009. The program is duly approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
MBA Degree Program is offered to train students with professional management practices in all the functional areas that are essential for effective sustainable and holistic development of individuals and organisations. The Program serves as a catalyst of progressive knowledge through continuous management education thereby elevating the entrepreneurial, managerial and leadership qualities.
The Department envisions in developing a competent and committed managers and entrepreneurs driven by values and aims laid by the faculty holding high qualifications and dedication backed by the management. We offer specializations like HR, Marketing, Finance and Systems. Students can select any two from the above. The Department is recurrently conducting Seminars, Conferences and Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps (EAC), communication and placement classes etc. The department has memberships with EEDISSIA, CMA, CII and JCI.
Programme Educational Objectives
Upon completion of the MBA program, students will:

- Integrate theories and practice to perform strategic analysis
- Demonstrate effective written forms of communication and oral business presentations
- Implement leadership skills to work effectively within diverse teams
- Identify and analyze ethical responsibilities of businesses
- Apply decision-making techniques, both quantitative and qualitative analysis, to management issues
