ABOUT US:
The department of Physics is mainly a supporting department to the main branches of Engineering. The department is mainly intended for teaching physics for engineering courses. The department has strived hard since its inception, in systematizing and upgrading the standards of teaching physics to Engineering students.
VISION:
- To be a center of excellence in Engineering Physics and Materials Science
MISSION:
Inducing and cultivating an interest towards Science and Technology among the students by providing excellent teaching-learning environment in Physics and stimulating the students towards applications of concepts and principles of Physics in order to develop Research and Development culture among students.

Physics Laboratory is well equipped with modern instruments to meet the requirements of the Anna University.
